Dilatant Decompaction Technology and Permeability Enhancement of Leachable Ore Masses

During the development of the equipment, its refinement, and transfer to operational use, approximately 300 wells were treated across Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

The results of treating the leached rock mass to modify the permeability of the near-wellbore and inter-well zones by applying force waves to the formation at uranium deposits are presented in the graphs.

Treatment of wells in the active leaching block (the block had been planned for decommissioning).
Lithology: gray fine-grained quartz sands; gray fine-grained quartz clayey sands are also present.

As shown in the graph, after treating the wells of the 13th injection row, the total injectivity of four wells increased from 1.8 to 11.2 m³/h, while the total injectivity of three wells in the 14th injection row increased from 1.1 to 13.6 m³/h.
