Buhruvate Field, Well 334
During the treatment operations, continuous monitoring of bottomhole pressure variations was conducted in injection well No. 2, with which a hydrodynamic connection had previously been confirmed through the injection of tracer fluids. On 16.11.12 and 17.11.12, well No. 2 showed cyclic increases in bottomhole pressure of 3–3.5 atm while the injection pressure remained unchanged.
- Initial oil production rate – 10.9 t/day.
- Oil production rate after treatment – 29.6 t/day (2.7 times the initial rate).
- Treated perforation interval – 20.8 m.
- Lithology – sandstone and clayey sandstone with porosity 8–14%.
- Oil-gas saturation coefficient – 82–92%.
- Reservoir pressure – 313.3 atm (about 83% of hydrostatic).
- Wellhead pressure falloff curve:
- before treatment – from 150 atm to 130 atm in 30 minutes.
- after treatment – from 150 atm to 90 atm in 15 minutes.
This indicates that the wave effect extends not only into the near-wellbore zone but also into the productive reservoir.
- Additional oil production:
- over 2 months – 1045.74 t
- over 17 months – 6214.3 t
- Additional gas production:
- over 2 months – 122.05 thousand m³
- over 17 months – 727.2 thousand m³
