Bugruvatyvske Field, Well 454 (from inactive stock)
In 2012, after a series of works to improve the technology and upgrade the equipment, operations were resumed. In October–November 2012, experimental-industrial tests of the technology and equipment were conducted at three wells of the Bugruvatyvske field (Nos. 454, 79, 334) on the basis of NGDU “Okhtyrkanaftogaz” of PJSC “Ukrnafta.” The obtained results are presented in the graphs.
- Initial oil flow rate – 0 t/day
- Oil flow rate after treatment – 0.98 t/day
- Treated perforation interval – 3.6 m
- Lithology – sandstone with 17% porosity
- Oil saturation factor – 60%
- Reservoir pressure – 160 atm (approximately 48% of hydrostatic)
- Wellhead pressure decline curve:
- Before the treatment – from 170 atm to 153 atm over 30 minutes
- After the treatment – from 155 atm to 90 atm over 30 minutes
During the operation at Well No. 454, an increase in liquid production was observed without implementing reservoir hydraulic measures (RHM) or replacing downhole equipment on the neighboring Well No. 57, which produces from the same horizon (from 3 t/day in November 2012 to 3.96 t/day in January 2013) with a rise in dynamic levels from 1222 m to 1001 m.
This indicates that the effect of the wave spreads not only to the near-wellbore zone but also to the reservoir.
- Additional oil production:
- Over 2 months – 65 t
- Over 17 months – 239 t
- Additional gas production:
- Over 2 months – 1.41 thousand m³
- Over 17 months – 9.6 thousand m³
